Our Story
The Old Brick Store is rich in history, having been built in 1906 as the town’s original hardware store. Over the years, the building has served many purposes, including supplying wagons, offering tractor repairs, housing a tin shop and blacksmith shop, and even operating a bottle club in the back room during Prohibition. At one time, the downstairs also featured a roller rink and a bowling alley, making the building a true hub of community life.

Today, The Old Brick Store is a family-owned business specializing in antiques, collectibles, and unique finds at great prices. Our long-term goal is to restore the building to its original design by reinstalling the large upper windows, restoring the skylight, and opening the mezzanine to the public. We’ve already removed the false ceiling to reveal the beautifully detailed tin ceiling and reopen views to the mezzanine above. We happily offer tours of the 20,000-square-foot building and love sharing its colorful history. Stop in and visit us—we’d love to show you around!

Jamie Magana founded The Old Brick Store in 2016 at just 19 years old, turning a lifelong passion into a family-run business. From the very beginning, the entire family has played a role in bringing that vision to life. Jamie’s dad, Dale Kuehny, a retired police officer, now works full time at the store and oversees estate buying and bidding. Jamie’s sisters help with pricing, decorating, and administrative work. Jamie’s brother-in-law, Moises, has recently joined the family business and is learning the ins and outs of the store. As with any true family business, the store is often filled with little helpers, adding to the charm and character that make The Old Brick Store feel like home.
